All new energy exploration galleries now open at Aberdeen Maritime Museum

Come and discover Aberdeen Maritime Museum's newest displays exploring the history of North Sea energy. Take a 3D tour of an offshore oil platform, test your skills as an ROV pilot in our all new simulator game and find out what life is really in the middle of the North Sea.

Aberdeen Maritime Museum is acknowledged as one of the finest visitor attractions in Scotland and the only place in the UK where you can see displays on the North Sea oil and gas industry. Now, with the new displays, for the first time you can discover more about marine renewable energy in the museum.

The refurbishment work will enable thousands of school children, community groups and visitors from across the region as well as the large number of foreign visitors the museum receives each year, to continue to learn about Aberdeen's fascinating maritime history and the future of offshore energy.
