Art Adventures at Gallery

15 July 2011

Create amazing artwork inspired by wildlife and nature this Sunday [17 July] at Aberdeen Art Gallery, Schoolhill.

Join the Arts Development team in the studio workshop for creative activities, quirky quizzes which will make a visit to the gallery even more fun.

The drop-in session will be held from 2.30pm to 4.30pm and is suitable for children aged 5 years and over with accompanying adult(s).

Any artwork created by those taking part can be taken home or stuck on the studio wall for other visitors to see.

This event is part of the Go Wild Weekend series organised to coincide with the gallery's major summer exhibition Wildlife Photographer of the Year which is on display until Saturday 20 August 2011.

The exhibition, owned by the Natural History Museum and BBC Wildlife Magazine, offers spectacular, sweeping landscapes to intimate portraits of animal behaviour, and an unequalled insight into the beauty, drama and diversity of the natural world.

There is also a fabulous range of Go Wild goodies on sale at the Gallery Shop that are perfect for pocket money budgets.
