Enjoy a little festive music

14 December 2012

Come along and enjoy singing all your favourite carols accompanied by the Bon Accord Silver Band and the Capriccio Choir of Albyn School on Saturday 22 December at the Winter Gardens, Duthie Park, Aberdeen.

There will be two performances on the day, the first at 11am and the second at 2pm both of which are free and will last approximately 45 minutes.

On entry to the Winter Gardens visitors will be welcomed by the North-east of Scotland's only male barbershop choir, The Granite City Chorus, singing festive songs.

Kenny Luke, events officer, Aberdeen City Council said: "These annual concerts are popular and really get everyone in the festive mood. It's great to hear children and adults singing Christmas carols and other festive tunes especially when accompanied by the wonderful Bon Accord Silver Band."

Visitors should also look out for a man in a red and white suit who is going to make a special visit to the Winter Gardens.

There is a limited seating area. The concerts will be relayed to other parts of the Winter Gardens.
