Candlelight Tours offer children a glimpse of Christmas Past

A candlelight tour of Provost Skene's House next week [Wednesday 15 December] offers children the chance to experience the splendour of one of Aberdeen's oldest buildings.

Built in the 16th century, Provost Skene's House is one of the city's few remaining examples of early burgh architecture.

During the tour children [aged 13 years and under] accompanied by a museum guide will explore the different period rooms which will be decorated in festive greenery from times past.

The event starts at 5.15pm and lasts approximately 40 minutes.

Tickets cost £7, £6 (concessions and Friends of Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums) and include festive refreshments.

There are three tours due to take place on Wednesday [15 December] however the tours at 6.15pm and 7.15pm [aimed at anyone aged 13 years old and over] are fully booked.
