Enquiries

Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums offers an enquiry service for works of art, archaeological finds, coins and artefacts and banknotes. Those wishing to receive information about a specific object should hand in the object at the Gallery Shop or the Maritime Museum shop and a curator will examine it in due course. The object will then be returned to you with a written opinion. In the case of ancient objects and coins, you should be aware of the Scottish Treasure Trove Legislation.
