This display will explore the long relationship between the visual arts and the theatre. It will include work by some of the greatest exponents of this ever popular subject - French artists Degas, Toulouse-Lautrec and Cheret and their British counterparts W.R. Sickert and Duncan Grant. It will also include a significant new acquisition - a study of Nijinsky as Petrushcka by Denis Creffield.
