A colourful and varied display of art works newly arrived into the collections at Aberdeen Maritime Museum, whether by donation or purchase over the last year.

These include the recently restored oil painting of the steamship Thermopylae, a recently purchased watercolour of the clipper ship Thermopylae, a tapestry of the 1970s fishing blockade of Aberdeen harbour and a sailor's tapestry.
