Wi-Fi at Aberdeen Art Gallery

Aberdeen Art Gallery offers free Internet access to all visitors over the age of 16 in the McBey Print Room at the art gallery. Wi-Fi can also be accessed at the Internet Café in the Media Centre, Central Library, Rosemount Viaduct.

In order to access Wi-Fi at both locations, you must:

1. Be a member of the library and use your Borrower Number to register with the Wi-Fi service
   or
2. Register to become a new Wi-Fi user.

Get Started
On your first visit you will need to register at the Art Gallery Reception Desk. A credit/debit card with a signature is required as proof of your identity. Your laptop, PDA or mobile phone will need a built-in wireless connection or an added Wi-Fi card to enable you to use the free Wi-Fi system. We can support Windows, Macintosh and other operating systems. Connect to Aberdeen Library Network and then launch your browser. You will be directed automatically to the Aberdeen Libraries portal page. Complete the online registration form and follow the instructions to get your username and password. Once registered, login and start your Internet search.

Crèche Services

In planning your visit to Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums, we are able to offer childcare at the Aberdeen City Council run Leaping Leopards Crèche. The Creche provides childcare for children between birth and 8 years old and is based on Queen Street, opposite Grampian Police Station.

Fees and Bookings
Crèche sessions can be booked in advance or accessed on a drop in basis.

Crèche current charges:

• One hour standard rate: £2.60
• Access to Leisure rate for qualifying discount cardholders: £1.30
