Aberdeen's award-winning Maritime Museum brings the history of the North Sea to life. View displays and exhibitions on the offshore oil industry, shipbuilding, fishing and clipper ships then visit the museum shop and Maritime Café.

Provost Skene's HouseProvost Skene's House

Dating from 1545, Provost Skene's House now houses an attractive series of period rooms, furnished to show how people lived in the 17th, 18th and early 19th centuries. The Tea Room provides light snacks.

The Tolbooth MuseumThe Tolbooth Museum

The Tolbooth Museum is one of Aberdeen's oldest buildings and one of the best-preserved 17th century gaols in Scotland. It features displays on local history and the development of crime and punishment through the centuries. Displays include the Maiden, the blade of Aberdeen's 17th century guillotine.

Cowdray hallCowdray Hall

The Cowdray Hall is one of city's most popular concert venues accentuated by superb acoustics. It is regularly hired by cultural organisations and features a busy programme of concerts and recitals.
