In 1715 the Jacobites launched their strongest rebellion. In Aberdeen, a network of burgesses and episcopalians organised to form a city council to provide crucial support for the Jacobite cause, above and beyond other Scottish burghs.

In this talk, Dr Kieran German reveals the story of the city in the midst of the great Jacobite rebellion.
