AFTER HOURS: PLAYGROUND

Aberdeen Maritime Museum

Special Event

13/05/2016 - 13/05/2016
7-10pm OVER 18s ONLY

Loosen off your ties and let out those bunches for an energetic evening of competing, plotting, creating, imagining and letting go, as you discover more about the purpose of play.

The entire museum will spring to life as the usual ‘quiet please!’ attitude gets thrown out the window in favour of a more raucous and rambunctious atmosphere.

Come along and explore what play means to you as you discover all sorts of fun; from popcorn and carnival games to up cycling old toys into wearable pieces. Linguists will love our improvised word play in the Whaling Gallery whilst the more competitive can challenge themselves with team games in the Education Suite. There’s even ‘Serious Lego’ workshops aimed at improving your creative responses to problems.

OVER 18s ONLY

Tickets £6* includes free popcorn or candyfloss
