Aberdeen Maritime Museum

Special Event

26/11/2016 - 26/11/2016

Wed love to hear from people who have stories, photographs, poems, drawings and objects relating to Aberdeen in times of war.

The experiences of those left at home are also an important part of the story we want to tell.

Your contributions will form part of new digital displays in the Remembrance Hall, part of Aberdeen Art Gallery, which is undergoing a 30m transformation, reopening Winter 2017.

There will be family-friendly crafts taking place in the museum and for one day only, special tours exploring objects with a wartime connection.

The event and all activities are free and open to everyone, no need to book.
