Dr Tim Pape-Carlisle investigates Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums' collection of animal bones, some of the most commonly recovered finds from archaeological sites.

Get to grips with intriguing artefacts from our archaeology collection - from Neolithic carved balls to 17th-century smoking pipes.

Make and excavate your own archaeological poo!
What did Vikings munch at mealtimes? You can tell a lot from the poo they left behind! Come along and make your own.
Warning - things may get sticky!

£2.50 + booking fee
4-11yrs. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
