This dessert fork is of Hanoverian pattern with four tines.The use of an engraved O surmounted by a crown is believed to be evidence of Allan working in Old Aberdeen where he was admitted as a Burgess in 1762.


Purchased in 1994 with assistance from the National Fund for Acquisitions.
