This is a rather unusual teapot for Aberdeen with its oval-shaped body and bright cut engraving.The ivory spacer on the cover is designed to prevent heat travelling up through the metal, making it too hot to touch.


Purchased in 1978 with assistance from the National Fund for Acquisitions and with income from the Webster Bequest.
