The Girdleness Outfall Scheme

Aberdeen Maritime Museum

Until 15 June 2013

The Girdleness Outfall Scheme was the centrepiece of a farsighted plan to address the sanitary requirments for the growing city of Aberdeen in the early 20th century. The original photgraphs in this display capture the scope of this impressive engineering project.
