If you are interested in hiring one of the Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums venues for your special event, we currently offer the exclusive use of Aberdeen Maritime Museum outwith public hours.
All three venues offer elegant surroundings to entertain your guests. We can help you chose the right environment for your event whether it is a small wine tasting, a corporate presentation, a company meeting, or a dinner of 100 people.
Aberdeen Art Gallery
When the Art Gallery re-opens in the Winter of 2017, larger evening receptions may be held in the central atrium on the ground floor of the Art Gallery where there is an impressive display of contemporary art. The galleries on the first floor provide a more intimate setting for smaller functions such as talks, wine tasting events and musical evenings. The galleries on the third floor will have access on to roof spaces offering views across the city.
Provost Skene's House
Currently closed to visitors due to building works being carried out around it. As one of the oldest buildings in the city, Provost Skene's House allows guests to experience 16th century architecture and living quarters as well as entertain in a venue that once housed some of Aberdeen's most prominent and historical figures. Access to the original 17th Century cellar is available for small-scale hospitality.
Aberdeen Maritime Museum
Aberdeen Maritime Museum affords panoramic views of the harbour that will enhance your event. The Education Suite, fully equipped for film, DVD, and audio-visual presentations, is also available for day time hires.
Adjacent to Aberdeen Art Gallery, and currently part of the redevelopment, this concert venue will have the flexibility of being set to accommodate a range of events both during the day and evening.
