The top floor of Provost Skene's House has been refurbished with generous funding through the Recognition Scheme, managed by Museums Galleries Scotland. The new displays include the exhibition, Skene's through the Centuries, which looks at the long, rich and fascinating history and archaeology of the House itself and its surrounding area, a townscape that is about to change dramatically once again with the demolition of St Nicholas House. Also on display are commemorative items chosen to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
