Hand, Heart and Soul

14/06/2008 - 23/08/2008

Aberdeen Art Gallery's major summer exhibition is a celebration of Arts and Crafts practice across Scotland between 1880 and 1939. This show goes beyond well-known names such as Edinburgh's Phoebe Traquair and leader of the 'Glasgow Style', Charles Rennie Mackintosh to explore a nationwide flowering of creative talent.

The Arts and Crafts Movement in Scotland

A City of Edinburgh Museums and Galleries touring exhibition, supported by the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation through its Regional Museums Initiative.

The original exhibition texts, including more than 350 display labels, have been generously published online by the Arts and Crafts Movement in Surrey, a society which supports the exchange of information on the Arts & Crafts Movement.
