Lunchtime Talk - Working 9-5 Season

In this talk we’ll look at how automation, the internet and artificial intelligence (AI) have affected our lives in subtle and not-so-subtle ways, ranging from the positive: freeing us from mundane repetitive tasks to the negative (for example causing wide-spread job losses). We’ll examine what AI and computers couldn’t, can't or (probably) won’t be able to do, and what effects these changes have had on society and the workplace, as well as what changes may be coming further down the road.
