The painting 'Tidelines by Nine', by Robert Callender, depicts the harshness of the sea and the aftermath of a storm.

Sea Change takes its inspiration from this and looks at how the sea causes change, for good and bad.

The objects on display, including model kayaks on loan from the University of Aberdeen, will tell how the sea changed wedding plans through a shipwreck, brought an Inuit to Aberdeen in the 1700s and inspired the adventurer Olly Hicks to recreate that journey in 2016, and how Aberdeen-built ships changed over time.
