Aberdeen's beloved Beach Ballroom turns 90 this year. Home to one of Scotland's finest dance floors - famous for its bounce - the art deco venue has rocked to the sounds of The Beatles and Pink Floyd, as well as countless local celebrations.

How do art galleries and museums decide what to collect? Jenna discusses a recent acquisition of hats which belonged to the late Isabella Park - for many years employed by local hat maker Hilda LeFevre - and explores how the gift by the Park family enhances our millinery collection.

A chance discovery during research in 2018 revealed the earliest documented Scottish vessel to sail across the Atlantic to 'the new fund land' in 1596. Join Phil and Thomas for an update on research into the ship and insights into Aberdeen's international trade in the late 16th century.
