This year marks the 400th anniversary of the Tolbooth, one of Aberdeen’s oldest buildings, and one of the best preserved 17th century gaols in Scotland.
Whilst Aberdeen Art Gallery is closed for redevelopment, due to re-open in Winter 2017, you can see the City's collections at other venues in the city and shire and while on loan to galleries in the UK and abroad.
This new display presents the early history of Aberdeen Harbour.
The new season of Lunchbreak Concerts promises a great variety of music, as we continue the successful mix of young musicians from Aberdeen, performing on the same stage as local professionals and non professionals, and visiting artists of international reputation.
This exhibition is inspired by the contemporary artwork, 'Kiss of Death' by Jo Gordon, which is an extreme version of a Victorian mourning bonnet.
Talks take place on a Wednesday from 12.30-1pm. Admission is free but advance booking is required on 01224 337714.
